Careless

I have been careless
I have filled my bag to overflowing
It is hard to carry along the way

Like a serpent
who has just eaten a rabbit
I leave a trail in the dirt
where my belly sags
where it nearly bursts

And like a serpent
I seek to shed
this burden

I have been careless
I have begun to eat my tail
How do I shed such weight
such skin?
